John Stevens (Sixth Place)Successful? NO John was signed to Maverick Records and released his debut album Red on June 28, 2005. It only sold 18,000 copies as of March 2006. He has made the decision to leave Maverick Records and is currently a student at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. |
Jennifer Hudson (Seventh Place)Successful? YES Jennifer went on to star as Effie White in the 2006 motion picture adaptation of the musical Dreamgirls for which she won numerous awards including an Academy Award, a Golden Globe, a BAFTA, and a SAG Award. She has performed the song "All Dressed In Love" for the Sex and the City: The Movie soundtrack, which was released on May 27, 2008. During an interview in May 2008, Jennifer confirmed that her debut album, which will be self titled, would be released on September 30, 2008. |
Jon Peter Lewis (Eight Place)Successful? NO JPL currently resides in Los Angeles, California. He is a frequent television and radio guest and performs nationwide with his band. His limited release debut album, "Stories from Hollywood," was released on his 27th birthday, November 7, 2006, making Jon the first Idol finalist to independently release an album of original songs. A second album, "Break the Silence", was released in July 2008. |
Camile Velasco (Ninth Place)Successful? NO Today, Camile performs at musical, cultural, and business events, and often visits colleges and high school campuses. Her main focus is to complete her debut album, which is due in the fall of 2008. She has a show in Youtube.com entitled Camiletv which airs every friday. |
Amy Adams (Tenth Place)Successful? NOAmy presently lives and works in Bakersfield, California as a professional makeup artist. She is married to Ross Varner. Their son, Harrison Ryan, was born in May 2005. |
Matthew Rogers (Eleventh Place)Successful? YES Since his appearance on American Idol, Matthew has served as co-host for American Idol Extra and worked as a correspondent on several sports and entertainment shows. He is currently the football coach at a Californian high school and is the host for the Discovery Channel show Really Big Things. |

Leah is now seen on popular video sharing site You Tube, uploading videos of herself singing popular songs. This is sometimes included with an an introduction of Leah herself.
